Pressure or Play...What's Possible NOW?

July 08, 20261 min read

For years, one of my favorite practiceshas been adding play to something I’m already doing, or want to do.

Again and again, this practice has opened me to unexpected surprises.

I learned long ago that I don’t actually need a new life, a new dream, a new relationship, a new project.

Sometimes I simply need to make what I am up to playful, take myself less seriously, have more fun.

What if I rested, first, just like a kid and then followed inspiration?

What if I listened to myself in a new way?

What if I started with a commitment of just 10 minutes on my ‘big’ project? And then stood up for a moment, walked around the block and then invested 10 more minutes?

Again and again, play helps me discover possibilities I couldn’t previously see. Play re-wires my nervous system for wealth - physically, mentally, emotionally, financially.

It helps me to feel curiosity more than pressure and possibility more than resistance.

Sometimes transformation arrives as a lightning bolt.

I’ve found that it often arrives as a small shift in focus.

In a playful, curious way.

Today, I invite you to choose one thing in your life and make it playful.
